Winners of LED Lighting tender
Update March 2019 - Suministros Eléctricos, Merconed, Ferconed are three of the thirteen companies in Honduras that presented their proposals in the tender for 100 thousand LED lamps convened by the National Electric Energy Company.
The companies presenting their tenders were Suministros Eléctricos, Merconed, Ferconed, Hondutec, Técnicos de Ingeniería y Construcción, Tekni, Equipos Industriales, Electroval, Distribuciones Internacionales, Ecological Solutions de Honduras, Celsa S.A., Inversiones MK and Electrificadora de Honduras.
The lighting that is being acquired is a high technology, with 50, 90, and 150 kilowatts, which will be installed in places where more lighting is required."
June 2018 -- Tender: LED Lighting for $4 million
The Costa Rican Electricity Institute is putting out to tender a supply of LED lights for public lighting, under the modality on demand.
"LED technology lighting, for public lighting in streets and avenues, to be mounted horizontally, powered at 240 V AC, 60 Hz, with a luminaire efficiency greater than or equal to 110 lm / W, with the capacity to provide at least two levels of luminous flux with a maximum consumption of 110W. The lights offered must be new designs and with an integrated assembly of LED technology, with established marketing, present and active in the market, sales information with buyers references must be provided.
Sep 2017 - Empresa Nacional de Energía Eléctrica has announced that it wishes to buy 100 thousand LED lamps for the public lighting system.
